Tsuru And The Bride Present... The Duet Photo Contest Winners!!!

Howdy and good Monday!

Well, what can I say? Craftin' Outlaws was, in my humble opinion, a huge success! Not only did I have a sale (HOORAY) and did Baby kick some serious ass herself, but the music -- provided by TSURURADIO ;) -- was, if I can say so myself, pretty damn kickin! And man, the show was packed! Good times were certainly had by all. YAY!

The only off part was during the OSU game where things slow down a bit, but what are ya gonna do.... That's Columbus, eh?

I think we learned a lot, as we always do with these types of things. One thing about TSURUFOTO... I think I'm ready to try to take it to "the next level", WOOT! What exactly does that mean? Not 100% yet, but it's marinating in that brain o' mine so keep an eye on all that soon, okay?

Ah, and speaking of photography, guess what? It's time to announce the...

Winner of our Duets Photo Contest!!!

YAY!

But first, let's take a look at some of the entries we had.... Man, I gotta tell ya, this is getting harder and harder as the entries to our photo contests are only getting better! Oof! First up is TSURURADIO community VIP MixItUp with her shot of two guardian angels...

Absolutely gorgeous moment, makes me wish we were back in Europe traveling around, seeing our thousandth church....

*happy sigh*

Then came Mitch...

Who seems to have found love amongst the sunflowers with a blonde cutie-pie!

Now you know I have a fondness for the converse, a fondness that every father hopes to pass down the generations, much like our man Joe seems to be doing...

Awww.....

Then there's Ingrid, our winner in our TSURURADIO Bike Porn contest, and her entry of two structures peeking into the Philly sky...

Just beautiful. I love the sense of space!

Ah, there's our boy Herki who has been rather busy with his Polaroid camera he got for Crane's Day. Being rather partial to polaroids myself, his entry of two shots of the same road was, well, pretty bad ass..

Man, I hope they can figure out the Impossible Project and make the film cheap. Please?? I LOVE my Fuji instant, but my polaroids are my polaroids, you know???

Sigh...

Then there's Harrison's entry of two buildings, two women, and two men generally enjoying life!

Havin' fun, guys???

I think Jethro is! An odd kinda fun...

Deuces, uh, not so wild anymore for these little boogers (please PETA, no mean ol' emails, okay?)... The real question is, how did Jethro train those flies to be so still for him???

I don't know and I'm not so sure the dueling skaters Dakota found would care too much, they seem to bit occupied mastering the "ollie" -- did I spell that right?

Then there's Bethany's body-temperature changing photo of two withering sets of berries...

Look at that and tell me a chill from a wintery breeze didn't just shoot down your spine, eh?

But like all good & proper contests, there can only be one winner and this one is a doozy. Long time society member & friend Isa sent in this photo...

I got to be honest with you... when I opened up the email and loaded up the image, my eyes immediately started to sting with little tears. It was just so sweet, so so sweet. Then, the more I looked at the photo, the more endearing it became as I saw all the little details. The shoes, from the flats to the converse, the position of the feet and legs and hands, to even the ring on Isa's finger, the same position as mine, when I had my "man-gagement ring".

Absolutely perfect.

Isa, we love this photo! I'm going to bug you for the best resolution copy you have so I can print it out, really, just one of the sweetest tributes anyone has done for us. So...

CONGRATULATION ISA!!!!!

Not only will you receive a 5" x 5" 8" x 8" print of "Aaron Loves Meghan"...

BUT, you will ALSO receive a cardholder of your choice from the TsuruBride Etsy Shop!!! Here's one of my favourites (of course)...

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAND...... it wouldn't be a contest prize package without something cycling related, right? So, we are throwing in a water bottle from when I went Pedaling for Pets!!!

It even has that horrible graphic, but in ALL red, for you to proudly display!!!!

So there you go... Thank you EVERYONE for all the amazing entries! I said it once, I'll say it again, you guys really and truly are the best. There is no other bloggy blog nearly as lucky as we are to have you guys!

Isa, I'll be emailing you soon!

And the rest of you, stay tuned for more Tsuru & The Bride goodness soon!!! Also, check out TSURURADIO later today for another special presentation, actually brought to you by Isa (she just doesn't know it yet)!

Love,
Tsuru & The Bride
